Congratulations to our Junior Division Champions! In our first year as a program, we proved that we can not only hang with the best, but proved we are the best Junior team in Central Texas! We can't wait until next season...GO VIPERS!
We are excited about growing the sport of lacrosse in Central Texas as we begin our first season in the Spring of 2010. Vandegrift is the newest high school in Leander ISD and has opened with freshmen and sophomores. All of our players are students at Vandegrift High School and the schools in the Four Points area. Lacrosse is a club sport and receives no funding from LISD and is not directly sanctioned by UIL in Texas. All of our support comes from tax deductible donations, corporate sponsors and player dues.
The Vipers Boys' Lacrosse Club has been actively preparing for the new team, and thanks to the generous initial support of our parents we have been able to get off to a great start. We were recently accepted into the Texas High School Lacrosse League and are conducting wall ball practices and scheduling scrimmages and games.
We will continue to post updates in the News section and will of course keep you posted on important developments. Most of all, we are still accepting tax deductible donations and looking for corporate sponsors. Checks can be made out to Vipers Lacrosse Club Booster Organization and should be mailed to our P.O.
